AC was nice to cool off after those long, hot days on the beach and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare food ourselves. “Casa el Norte must be one of the best private villas / houses there is to hire in the whole of Diani. Located directly on a beautiful stretch of beach at the south end of Diani, the house is in a more quiet location, but still well within reach of everything you may need. Step out of the garden onto the beach and turn right to find bays loaded with shells. Turn left and walk ~5min to Lantana hotel/ kite surfing school. The house itself is spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The pool is big and sparkling clean. The kitchen has all the necessary cooking utensils to prepare a meal, but even easier to get the cook to prepare the food for you. we had seafood - calamaris, prawns, crayfish and fish from the local fishermen every day! Aurelia, the house keeper, was extremely helpful in organizing everything we needed. Well stocked supermarkets are a 15min tuktuk ride away in town. can only recommend this house and wish i could say we will be back soon....”

“This place is what dreams are made of. Such a beautiful villa perfectly situated on a very quiet stretch of the coast, but also only 5 mins walk to some of the best seafood we’ve had in ages. The house is perfect — spacious, clean, quiet, and only steps from one of the most beautiful beaches you’ll ever visit. Transport to and from was easy, just grab the number of a taxi or tuk tuk and you’ll be all set. House staff were wonderfully warm and helpful, but let us alone to do our own thing as we wished. Rooms are all well-appointed with mosquito nets. Host Macharia was very flexible and accommodating, even with our last-minute booking, and was very quick in his responses. Can’t wait to go back next year! “

“Fantastic Stay! It's my favorite house in Diani and I always come to this one. It's just by Galu beach, which is super quiet and peaceful. It's perfect place for holiday and even for working remotely. The house is super comfortable, the swimming pool is super clean with staff's cleaning every morning. The internet is good enough for video call, and you can always enjoy hot shower anytime. The best part is that the two ladies are very helpful for anything, I was a bit sick this time when visiting, and the ladies took really good care of me, calling driver to take me to hospital and making sure I recovered well. If you are looking for a peaceful and more private place, this is definitely great choice.”

Had the most amazing week with my family at Casa El Norte - The 'Casa' is beautifully designed to make you forget city life and just relax in views that will blow your mind. You can see the beach from the minute you step into the house and the infinity pool is so inviting to cool off in the heat! The staff are amazing and accommodating to all your needs. All you need to do is be organised and have a menu planned and do a shop before you get there. Aurelia's culinary skills are profound and she will make sure you get exactly what you ask for. Local fishermen can bring you catch of the day on demand. Fresh coconuts were brought to us daily. The support staff are friendly and respected our mask wearing policy. We could not have ask for a better place to stay especially during covid. I highly recommend this private villa for you to have a perfect beach vacation in one of the best beaches in the world 'Galu beach'. Will definitely be back!”

“Stayed for almost an entire month with my family. Felt right at home with just added benefit of a beach at my front door. Amazing ladies Aurelia and Jane looked after us - cooking, cleaning, shopping when needed. House is conveniently located and easy to walk on beach,cycle or grab a tuk tuk to most places. If you love the Ocean, want to fall asleep hearing the waves. If you want simple rather than fancy. This place is for you. Highly recommend it for a long stay.”
